Finally finished my wheels
Started last week taking the chrome covers off my stock wheels to paint them black. Talking about a big PITA. Luckily my brother's truck is missing a tranny so I borrowed his 33's for the week. In the first pic I had just taken the covers off. Look at all that glue. Used aircraft paint remover, rubber mallet, and a scraper. After that I rinsed and used a wire stripper brush on a drill to finish the job. Coat of primer and 2 coats of paint later you get the end results below. Good timing too b/c I've gotta go pick up his tranny 2 1/2 hours away in the morning.

Thanks for all the comments and input. I'm gonna run the center caps for a while and may paint em like mentioned above. I plan on buying a new set of wheels next year and then have these powder coated just for a back up set. Coopers are a great tire for the money. Think I paid around $112 a tire.
