Finding a bolt pattern
I am trying to find the bolt pattern for my co-workers 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. I have seen 5x4.5 and 5x5.5. Thats not too promising when trying to find the right rims. Does anyone know where you can find bolt patterns or how to figure out what his is. Thanks all.

Its got to be 8xsomthing
|
im pretty sure 1500s are 5 lug zach,
|
It is 5 lug, just not sure if its 5.5 or 4.5
|
try and put your wheel on it!!
|
yeah i dont think our wheels swap to dodges so id guess that it is 5.5.
In fact im sure we cant swap. |
on a 5 lug, im pretty sure you measure from one stud to an imaginary line that goes across the 2 studs opposite. try google? there should be some diagrams out there. 5 lugs are always tricky. also if you go to tirerack and put the info in, it should give you a bolt pattern

On a 5-lug, you go from the END of one lug, and then to the CENTER-line of a lug across from it.
On a 6, you just go from center to center from opposing lugs. Same for 8. |
Tirerack says 5-139, is that 5x5.5?
|
Yep, 5.5 (5 1/2")

Awesome, thanks Adam.
