Icon5 Aluminum Wheel Frozen to hub

My drivers front wheel is frozen on. I have beat the ever living crap out of it with a wooden block to protect the rim and tire and no luck. I also lowered the truck with the lugs off and turned the steering wheel. Then laid a bottle jack between both inner wheels and still nothing. Any clues? When i get it off i'm slapping some anti-seize on for the future!

Thanks Dave

Haven't been off in a while..... I did a brake job on a Hyundia Tiberon last month . My buddy said he'd been driving it for two years and he thought it needed to be looked at.....Holy ****!!!!! One hour with a 4 foot long 3 X 3 hard wood wheel chock just to get those rims off. Hitting the tire from the back side....PB Blaster and a small piece of 2 X 4 and my BFH . Lay the 2 X 4 flat on the lip of the wheel and hit a few times, turning the wheel and hitting it at another spot on the rim.

Good Luck....

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3GS)

Got it off. It was corroded on. Put a log against the front of the wheel and used a 20lb sledge and it clunked off. Anti seize going on all 4

Was it frozen on where the lug bolts are? I am just curious since I may be getting some aluminum rims in the future.
