Ory, I choose the Nitto's, thats why I have them.

I think performance wise they are very equal. What sets them apart for me is the looks. I like the main tread design the same but the side wall on the Nitto really stands out for me.

Here are a few pics.

Nitto. I have no experience with either, but the Nitto looks better to me. I like the 'lightning strikes' or whatever on the sidewall. Tread is appealing. The General looks wayyy too much like a BFG a/t and we all know everybody and their brothers have those. lol. I do like the sidewall...reminds me of a BFG KM1.

I'd vote for the Nittos. No experience with either but I've had experience with other General truck tires and I have a dislike for all General tires.

I went with the generals for the price.. I got mine for $130 a tire through my dads hookup.. I think both tires will do what you need them to do.

Ramsey, you are one of the first people that have posted a good looking picture with those tires.

Thanks.

Greg, they are both great looking tires no doubt about it. However, to be honest...I would choose the AT2's. They are a bit cheaper, and look great. They are similar to the BFG's, and we both know I love the BFG's.

Plus the Nittos don't offer the white sidewalls, and I am a fan of whites out on trucks. Thats my .02

Nitto is owned by Toyo, and the terra grappler tread and the toyo open country At tread are almost identical. You can get the Toyo for cheaper than the Nitto at most any tire shop.... the only difference is the Nitto's have a sidewall design (kinda looks like lightning bolts comming from the treads onto the sidewalls) so if you can live without those... lol.... grab the Toyo Version.

Toyo Open Country AT

They are similar, not identical. The main differences are the shoulder lugs are staggered on the Nittos but not the Toyos, and the Nittos have the lightning strikes on the sidewall. The Open Countrys are usually $5-$10 cheaper.

You told Greg and I when you where getting tires that if they offered a 15in rim in Nittos thats what you would have gotten them

You just dont like the Nittos because I have them.

WTF? I said they are great looking tires. I considered them until I found out they don't offer them in a 15 inch rim and they have no white walls. But I am still really happy with my BFG's.

Dont act like I am making **** up troll. You told Greg and I that on many occasions.

Like I said, the only reason you dont like them is because I have them.

I would go with the AT2's. The Nittos are a great tire, but I think the tread pattern on the AT2 might be a little more effective. yes, I think the Nitto sidewall is appealing, but I would rather go for performance, and therefore get the AT2's. I mean no offense to any owners of either tire.
