Well it will take me a while to get ti all done, but it will be a slick truck, that is sor sure. at least as far as I concerned! LOL

 

My new wheels were shipped TODAY!!!! it will only be a fews till I get to put them on. :{D

Finally, I have been wanting too see them. It's gonna look so much better

 

I called this last friday and I found out that one of the tires I had orded ,and it came with a defect, so they were getting me another one, I was very happy that the guys at the shop inspected them closely or I would have another problem, anyway, the tire was to be there last friday and I was told that they would ship in saturday, who ever told me that didn't know what there were talking about, they don't ship on saturday, I talked to the REAL guy in charge today again, he was out the last time I talked to them, he told me that the tire would be in tomorrow, mounted, balanced and the whole set shipped by tomorrow afternoon, AND because of the holdup, he is having the whole set shipped TWO DAY AIR at no expence to me. what a deal. SO, my tires should be at my house at about thursday afternoon by the time I get home!

well I got some bad news today. The shipping department sent my wheels/tires GROUND insted of 2 DAY AIR like the department Manager said they would just because they took so long. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, well the moroons in shipping department didn't do like he said and when ahead and shipped them GROUND. NOW, insted of me getting my new wheels/tires on friday, as in TOMORROW, they won't get here till MONDAY! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

 

That really sucks! Oh well though, there is nothing you can do about it now, just grab a Coke and asit back and relax!

true, they will be worth the wait, but I don't get home itll 7 pm every night, and after a hard day, the last thing I would want to do is to have to put a whole set of new tires on, grrrrrr. BUT I guess that is exactly what I will be doing on Monday night. I will post some pictures the next day.

 

I have 275/60/15s on my truck in the rear and they looks badass IMO. However for the front I am going 255/65/15 as I think trucks look better with a little more tire then a car.

 

well the delivery date changed by one day. NOW they are due on TUESDAY!!

 

Haha quit whining man! I could get 1 day exress air here or whatever the fastest delivery it is, and it'd take a week. I think the quickest i've ever received is a priority small package from a guy in PA that took a week and a few days.

well they are doing their normal thing, Its just that I am not a very patient person. I worked on this deal for a while and now that the wheels/tires are in the mail I WANT THEM NOW!! lol The guys where I bought everything are great, I have gotten GREAT customer service.

and YES, they cost a pretty penny, I wanted the best in my opinion, and thats what I saved for. and you won't see many around my neck of the woods that have them.

I know, and concidering that they are coming DHL, the truck that will deliver them will be YELLOW!! just like my truck and car. :{D

 

well its D-DAY. and my wheels/tires will be delivered TODAY. I called the 800 number for DHL last night and they confirmed that my wheels will be delivered TODAY. but don't ya know it, ITS FRICKIN RAINING CATS AND DOGS !!!! and I don't have a garage to put my new wheels/tires on in. and its supposed to be like this for a couple days......somebody must hate me.

 

put up a canopy!!! or fold-a-cover of some sort

 

I am sure I will have to ask my wife, REAL NICE, to put her car out in the rain for as long as it takes for me to change them out. :{D but you can bet money that I won't put MY car out in the rain, lol. you got to understand that my car has been WET from rain ONCE in the 4 years I have owned it. needless to say, its as clean as you can keep one, its actually a show car of sorts, not a daily driver.
