Yea I'll agree, for a NON sipped tire they are good, but how many NON sipped tires are there to compare them to? the BFG MT and the TSL are about it. You can get a sipped tire that will outperform the MTR in every situation and cost a good deal less because it wont have the goodyear name on it.

If you get them for a real good deal then go for it, but I would never pay what they charge for such a mediocre tire in anything but rocks.

i wouldnt get an MT/R then, honestly. Ive never dirven a lot of highway miles. maybe 100 miles in a week at the most on average...

Dude those are the lowest of low end Goodyears. So many people run the MTR's.

i have run my MTRs for over two years and got about 60000 on them. i have always had mud tires on all my trucks so noise was never a issue. they have been great for snow, rain, mud, rocks and lasted alot longer than i thought they would bein that i drive 28 miles to work one way 5 days a week. just waitin for goodyear to have another sale on them so i can get a new set.
