Do a search, we have debated these tires many times.

I prefer teh MTRs I love em, great tire. A little pricey but they are awesome.

not meanin to highjack this thread but in a few months i am looking to put 35s on my truck and have decided to set a $550 limit on tires alone. is this too small? im considering reinvesting in some kuhmos but would really like something by maxxis or the new mud grapplers. these, of course, are a little pricey. think i should set my budget up a little higher? it can be done but im always tryin to save a little money.

Budget seems a lil low for those kinds of tires. Especially if you have a 16inch rim. With a 15 inch rim you may be able to swing it. Your best bet would have to be ebay for those prices.

It will definitely be tough to get any 35" tire for that, but I think it can be done. I saw Maxxis mudders online for $117 a tire for 33", so I woudl imagine 35" woudl be about $125-130, so that would be right at your limit, but then you need to get them shipped and mounted.
