Got me some rims! Finally

The guy found them in his barn, never used, he forgot he bought them!

He can't remember what the company is but they are 15x8. Backspace looks to be 3.75". They were for a Jeep originally. They do rub on the calipers but nothing a little sanding won't fix. Dirty and have a bit of surface rust but that's no biggie, I'll be stripping the clearcoat on all of them, reclear the outer part, and paint the inside black, like these.

Or all black, not sure yet

Where do you think I could find center caps?

i remember something about their rims fit on our trucks, but ours not on theirs? am i nuts? or maybe it was the other way around... it might have been because of back spacing, or lug layout... not sure

stock ranger wheels wont fit on jeeps because of the hub center bore...rangers have a smaller hub....because stock wheels are hub-centric not lug-centric, the hubs are a specific tight fit on the stock vehicle

When I bought my rims, the guy just bought center caps from eagle alloy. They look very similar. They were $5 each. I'll post a pic of what they look like in a minute.

Another option for the center caps is to do what redneckstone and hozll did by using the ford center caps.

Nice! You and your scores!

Didn't you just get some new 16" rubber within the last year though? So what are your plans with rubber then?

They have a bit too much surface rust from sitting for years in a shed to try to polish up, and I a bit partial to black rims

The oes that came stock on the 2wd 16" in 08? That's what my roomate has so I'll pop one off and see if it fits. Cause that would look even better!

How-to for paint of polish? I painted my stock rims twice so I'm good with that, but I'd use it for the polish on the ouside of the rim.. Only reason I hate Alcoas...7"

Put some 33'" MTZ or KM2's on those, and either try to sell stockers or keep them for street use.

Thanks everyone, it was a really good find!

Damnit... I was cleaning them up and found out they are made by Cragar, bad thing is that they are 15x7... I emailed the guy asking that he either takes them back or gives me 80$ back

Did you pay 80 for all 4? If so just polish em and flip em for more.

I paid 180$ for the 4. So if he does give me back 80$. I'll put them up for sale for like 200$ after cleaning/painting them
