33" or 35's...im so stuck on what i want...

well my truck is fairly high for just a body lift..compared to some guys out there..having f-150 coils in the rear and 3" out of my torsions... but anyways, i want to fill out my truck better and some guys with 33's just seems like it could go bigger. but also i dont wanna regear or lose lots of flex.

i might get glass fenders...so

dam i hate decisions i cant make, 33's or 35's...oh and they'll be buckshots

Another turncoat Asian tire buyer...oh well.

If you get 35's you'll certainly want to regear and if you've got 3.73's you'll probably want to even with 33's. Where are you now in terms of gearing?

The one warning about buying any larger tire: once you have them, you can't imagine having anything smaller again, lol. Now I'm on 35's everything else looks small and I have a real resistance to even the idea of going down in size when I think of it. So, just be warned, lol!

yes this makes no sense. Ive never even know f150s to have coiled rear ends.

I say go with 33s. once you lift more go for 35s. And dont go 15x10s. 15x8s...

Thats worse that a honda civic with a huge airplane wing on the back. Useless pointless and no offense to you, dumb...

I would like to see pictures of this though please...

EDIT: BTW, shocks dont determine sag...

Pics of these shocks?

Personally, I think stuffing a tire that is too big just isn't worth it. My 33s look small sometimes with my lift on, but going back to rubbing and not being able to make full U-turns... just not worth it IMO. Plus the extra cash of new tires!

I say 15x10 and 33s, you will lose serious power with 35s and the 3.0 unless you regear.

^^^ yup very true...thats why im prolly gett'n 33's for now for sure..

well like i said..not coilovers like yer think'n, more like a helper spring...like a dam R/C shock. they are nothing special guys....i needed shocks bad, got em free from a buddy who had em on his ranger.

oh and yes im dum..hah,

i meant..i killed my stockers..so i was so-cal'n around and my quad sank my *** end way to low, so i like the added hieght and load bearing abilities.

heres a pic..ive had em for a long time..though some have you have seen em..they still flex great

Sounds like your setup is something like mine, I have BL and AAL (add-a-leaf) in the rear and the T-bars cranked.

I am running 35's, I have 4.10's and I don't feel the NEED to regear but I have a 4.0L, I might regear just to get some of the acceleration back but I don't think its needed.

like gil sayed shocks dont sag your truck they might limit the hight if you put a lift and run stock lenth. but you can take out your shocks and your truck should sit at the same hight it more sounds like your springs are taking a s**t. now granted you might have screwed your shocks but that wont be the case...

well they are more of "helper" coils as he said and I understand. that can aid in retaining the ride height a bit. so i understand where hes comin from. still a little weird but if it works, whats the problem?
