Stock steel versus aluminum

I have an 88 2wd ranger with mis matched wheel/rims. I have found stock ford rims at the local junk yard. what is the recommendation, aluminum stock or the steel stock rims? what gets better MPG?

Both sets are 14" same as my current size.

Aluminum will be lighter, so better MPGs. You probably won't notice it though.

If it does make a difference, it would probably be like at most a 1 MPG increase. Which I highly doubt anyway.

Steel stockers aren't heavy, not like Cragars. I would get the set i liked the most.

Thanks for the input everyone. TheStig88, I like the old rangers too much to buy a new one. Something about that square truck that I like. Just put a new windshield in for $95..... can't do that on the newer rangers..
