I am pretty impressed with my buckshots and for the price you cant go wrong. I think my next set is going to be BFGs though just cause I love em.

Goodyear Wrangler MT/R is an awesome all around tire. But im sure they are expensive. The most likely is going to be buckshots, good tire for cheaper than all the other guys.

Does anyone have any experience with BFG's Brawler Radial Tire?

I think it's more of a sand tire, but it looks beastly.

otherwise I say Buckshots

Edit: if no ones ever heard of the brawler its supposed to be a newer version of the Krawler....

there's a lil bit of info on them in this months Four Wheeler magazine. it says to go to BFG's site for more info but there is absolutely nothing on the site about them...so maybe they are just a myth

MT/R's are the only good off-road tire worth having for a truck that sees alot of street miles.

Ask me how I know.

They are pretty good tires, pirate4x4's main page has a test for the MT version. I like the rocker's personally.

But i'm sure an MT/R would last longer.

I think that some Goodyear MT/R's with some black rock crawlers would look so nasty on your truck, i think you should go with that set up.

^^ well the black rims are here waiting for em.. but yea i just need to decide on a badass tire..

mt/r's are perty spendy but very nice, its gona see quite a few Hiway miles till i guet my car so i need to keep that in mind.

so im either BFG mt's, goodyear mt/r's...or maybe a tsl..the only thing about the mt/r's is they are pretty dam spendy..didnt they discontinue them too? thought i heard somthn like that. and th BFG m/t dont last to long

Lol he's said he's getting a d44 in about 10 threads. He actually has a thread with pictures of the d44 right after he pulled it at the PAP.

i hate to say it but the goodyear MTRs blow, just like every other goodyear tire. they are SO friggin loud compared to other tires and they suck in the rain/snow/ice. I'm not just sayin what people have told me either, I had a set for about 15K miles before I couldn't stand them anymore and GAVE THEM AWAY. now I'm running a set of interco Trxus STS on my truck and they are SSSOOOOOOOO much better. I'd suggest the Trxus MTs though for you. runnin em on my GFs truck and they are amazing. quiet and smooth on the street, amazing in rain/snow/ice (like as good as my BFG ATs that i ran for 80K miles) and cheaper than the MTRs. I mean in order for my GF to let them be on her truck they have to be good on the street and their off-road performance is comparable to that of the other interco tires, i mean they cant compare to a bias ply tire off-road, but then again no radial can. also the trxus MTs will wear a lo tlonger than the BFG MTs and be smoother on the street and MUCH better in the rain/snow/ice due to the fact that they are sipped.

Why would you buy an off-road tire and complain about the noise? Everyone I know that has MT/R's and has used them off-road loves them. They are badass on the rocks and do fine on the road. They last the longest out of "mud-terrain" type tires.

The STS's are not in anyway an off-road tire. They are an allterrain tire.
