How many miles on your BFG A/T's??

I was talking to a guy today that has some BFG A/t's 40000 km or approx 25,000 miles on them. How long do the BFG's last ??? Is it worth buying used or should i just buy new???

Thanks for your time.

I got around 25k out of my last set and could have got another 5-7k out of them, but I wanted fresh new tires for the winter, so I went ahead and got new ones. My current set has about 6-7k on them. They'll probably be my last set of BFG A/T's.

I've got 21000km on mine, the front have 12/16ths and the back have 11. If I remember right they were 15 when new. Definitely worth shelling out for new rubber.

Only 11,862 miles on them. They still look new too even after a few burnouts.

My friend has about 10,000 miles on his and they are almost done. He does burnouts on them ALL the time. That will wear them fast. I did a few burnout on mine when I first got them and then stopped and they still look brand new. That was about 5,000 miles ago. So I'd say they last quite a while if you take care of them.

well the first set I had lasted about 80,000 miles, and the set I have now has 55,000 miles on em and I got them used. These will definitly last me through this winter into next spring before getting new ones.

Dont have an answer to how long the tread is.. as I dont run A/T's.. but I would suggest not buying some with that many miles.. you are MUCH safer off just saving up another month adn buying them brand new

I got 80,000 miles out of my last set of BFG A/Tsand just bought my a new set a month ago. I put an equal amount of highway and city miles on them and used them in arizona and iowa winters, never did many burnouts though. Absolutely love the tires, but I would not buy a used set, you never know how the previous owner used them.

I have typically gotten 65K to 70K miles out of 31" BFG AT tires. I have put about 300K miles total on various sets over many years. I am not easy on them as they serve off-road duty as well as street but I don't do burn outs and drift corners either. However, I can't say I have never broken the tires loose while accelerating.

I have about 60,000 miles on mine and they are near the wear indicator. I figure I'll get about 10,000 more miles on them before they have to be replaced.

These tires last a while..........unfortunately...........I need an excuse to buy bigger tires . I have 25,000 on mine and still about half tread. I've been driving a little more.......daring.......with my truck and definitely noticed an overall acceleration in tire wear in all corners. But with a truck ~4,000 lbs. (mine weighed in at exactly 4,000 lbs. with all my normal cargo minus me) these tires last longer on our trucks than they do on fullsized trucks.

i have a set at my house behind the shop that we got from a guy with a superduty. The tires have 90k on them, and still havent hit the wear indicator. they are 285s also. I was floored, so we kept em for spares.

Im looking to getting a bigger wheel and tire combo and Ive been looking at the AT's for a long long time now.... and seeing as how you guys are getting great mileage out of them... I was jsut wondering how the MT's stack up to the miles compared to the AT's
