Icon9 15's dont fit on my 2009 Fx4

Hi all, I am new to the community and have something i would like to share with doesn't seem to make sense to me. I know that anyone with a 2010-2011 ranger 4x4 with the tow package has larger disk brakes (front and rear) and 15" wheels won't fit on their trucks. I recently purchased a set of 32x11.5x15 pro comp mud terrains with a set of typical cheap black steel truck wheels but when i went to mount them on the truck they have issues rubbing on the brake pad retainer clips on the front of my truck. Does anyone know why it seems that my truck is the only pre 2010 that can't fit 15" wheels? Sorry if this is something i could find elsewhere or if my moderate ( at best ) mechanical skills make my post obsolete. Any feedback is helpful! thanks in advance.

All the 2009 - 2011 4x4 trucks had the 12" rotors and larger rims. Only the 2wds had 11" rotors that fit 15" rims.

Thanks for the reply Apexkeeper. my truck does in fact have 12" rotors which pose a bit of a problem with the fitment. For anyone in this same boat in the future I went to my local autocrats store and purchased 4 anti rattle clips with smaller tag ends. this allowed the 15's to fit without any issues. To anyone who wants to avoid this situation buy 16" wheels. The peace of mind is worth the extra $ in my mind
