4.75 BS

I read somewhere that a 12.5 tire won't work on a 4.75 BS wheel on a ranger because it will rub something. Is that true? Oh, and the wheels are a 17x9 if that makes a difference.

4.75 is pretty sucked in...believe thats the stock wheel backspace....but....the rub issues depend on suspension/bodylift set up as well as wheel backspace...

give us something to work with.

Well I plan on 3" BL with the 17's got-dirty has for sale. For tires I was thinking something around a 285/70R17.

I think it would work without scrubbing, but then again my stock 31" scrubbed on my alcoas.

Isn't stock BS like 4.5 or 4.0 or something like that? I gotta check my receipt for my rims. I got the stock offset I think on those, and they are sucked in too much in the rear.

If I'm right most factory rims are spaced at 4.5 (thats what mine are anyways). The alcoas are spaced at 4 inches, (correct me if I'm wrong).

ya but the rims are 17x9 so they will stick out more.....right now i have 18x9's with 5.5 back space wrapped with 285/60/r18 and they dont rub when i turn and they stick out 1 inch farther than stock wheels and 1/2 an inch farther than alcoas so they dont look that bad....ill probably get 1 inch wheel spacers in the future.

Stock BS is 4.5. I have 16x8's on the truck with stock backspacing and they stick out a lil further than the stock wheels. I don't know if its an inch or not.
