i need new tires.. my story.

So i have bfg ta ko's with 22000 miles on them. They are legally bald as they sit at 2/32 of tread.. ya go me.

I am looking to get a 33x12.50 in an A/T for snow.

Discount tire only wants to give me like 35 a tire for my tread warranty and i paid over 129 a tire when i bought them.. i think i am getting screwed.

Well any ideas on a A/T I can get at a decent price that will out live the BFG?

I guess that makes the price go a little lower on the truck, huh?

Noooo i am putting new tires on it and probably a body lift. So itll sit 3 inches higher and have new 33's.. wont make the price go up none though.

Tell me why you're dumping money into a truck you're selling? I would go stock sized tire and call it done. Apparently you must drive pretty hard to annihilate a set of BFG's in 22k miles. $35 isn't bad. If it were me, I wouldn't give you anything.

well when a company warranties a tire for 55000 miles and it makes it half that.. i would hope to get half back you know?

And did i miss something on tire pricing going up.. my 31x10.50s were 129 and he says they are 152 now? wtf?

I dont see the truck selling fast so a bl is like 200 tops. and tires are around 400 - 500 tops. May as well enjoy her while i can. I still have to find a truck i like.

The truck may sell slow but it'll sell 10x slower with a body lift......

Set of tires for under $400?? Craigslist??

Why do you say 10x slower with a BL?

And no discount can get my 31x10.5s on my truck for like 396 with tread rebate.

But i am itching for 33x12.50s.

Because most people would prefer stock over modded. But id say go 33's, they would look good.

Most people that want a modded truck also want to be the ones modding it.... I wouldn't dump another penny into a truck you plan on selling... buy stock tires and buy a for sale sign for the window (and a sharpie to write your number with).

Why waste your money if your selling it? Buy some 245/75/16s and call it done. You can get 4 continental contitrac's for $375 installed that size if not cheaper

tire warranty are only upholded by showing proof of rotations and alignments

and then they are prorated out to a new tire, not a free replacement

I know this I have rotation records at every 3k miles as well as alignment when i bought them. I talked to a couple of people who have done same thing with discount and they said i am being screwed. So i am taking a in a competitors price since they match pricing and getting more out of my tires.
