I need some advice on which tires to buy for the back of my truck?????
I need to know if any of these tires are going to work with the GRABBER AW 245/75 R16 109S BSW tires.
http://www.tires-easy.com/start.html is where i got the prices for the tire's each: Cavalier SPORT KING A/T 245/75 R16 109S $75.60 or Dayton "A tire made by Bridgestone in the budget price segment" Timberline A/T 245/75 R16 109S OWL $74.80 or Mastercraft COURSER AWT 245/75 R16 111S OWL $75.20 or Republic Trail Mark Radial APR 245/75 R16 109S OWL $70.90 or Republic Trail Mark M/S Radial 245/75 R16 109Q OWL $75.90 or Runway Enduro H/T 245/75 R16 111T OWL $58.80 Ok those are the tires that fit in my price range. So which tire is the best bang for the buck outta them?? You can go on that website and check them for yourself. I just want a good tire that can handle offroad and loads like campers without costing me a leg and an arm. Also anyone had any experiences with any of the tires above please let me know how it was. Thank you guys. |

i had always heard good things about dayton, i guess you learn something new everyday
make sure you dont get a p rated tire (passenger) i dont care what they say those things wont last esp if you put any weight in the back...
Cool i was thinking about the cavalier sport kings. So stay away from the timberline then.
Ok guys here is the scoop. I will have somewhere around $200 for tires on the back of my truck. So what tire would you guys get for $200? I dont care about brand just as long as they are a good solid tire for offroad and carrying loads. If you can find a place that has them for $200 shipped plz let me know. I am having a hard time deciding.

get the sport kings...i ran mine (32x11.50's) for about 35,000 miles and loved them for the amount that i paid for them
Ok guys i am debating on going with 15" and going 31x10.5. If i do what would be a good tire in that size and cheap?
mastercraft tires are made by cooper and probley the best optiion for your posted choices
i have the courser MT's and they have been great with no problems for 2 years. |
Ok i am having a real hard time finding tires cheaper then $75 each that are a/t or offroad tires. Anyone help???
check out tirerack.com and look for general grabber at2's i only got about 50miles on mine, but am quite happy with them. i got 265/70/16's for $90 each with shiping they were like $100... something to consider.... i have pics in the pics section.

you are going to have a hard time finding tires cheaper than 75 bucks each, IMO thats really cheap. I mean, my goodyears that are just standard replacement size were 155 each OTD.
mine were 90, and are more agressive than the crapyear slicks, and bigger...
I see so 75 is should take it then?

Well that is one thing i will never buy again are goodyear wrangler rts's. The most worthless tire i have ever owned.
sams club has good deals on name brand tires.
if you have any Discount Tires up there see if they have any take offs or used tires.. like if someone traded in there 31"s for 33" right after they drove off the lot or something..
Nope I dont have one near me at all. That is why i am shopping online for tires. Anyone know a good online retailer for tires. I have checked discount tires,tires-easy.com,mavis tire, summit, jegs, and about any other etailer out there.
