Looking for some suggestions

I have a 2000 xlt with the FF 3.0 and 3.73 gears. I really want to put a BL on and go with a nice alum. rim and a new tire but I cant decide what size to get. I dont think Ill be able to turn 33's without blowing something up and 31's look to small IMO. What would you guys suggest running. Also does anyone know the metric version of a 32?

why not just get 32x11.5x15 unless you are wanting 16"+ sized wheels

I was thinking about a set of 17's. Do you think that a set of 17's with 33's would be to much?

Once you just up to 17's you are looking at a LARGE jump in price. I would stick to 15 or 16's to keep it on the cheaper side of things.

Where the hell are you finding tires for 17's for $99? I call BS or cheap/bad tires.

Never run retreds man, used tires are ok but somethin that has been retredded is a bad idea.

retreads are illegal on passenger cars in the US. If they really are rethreds good luck finding a shop that will mount them.

You want to buy used re-treads? Did I really just read that?
If you are concerned about the price of tires, 17's are not the way to go. Stick with 15's or 16's and tires will cost a lot less.
For me, tires are not something I cheap out on. In fact I almost always sell me tires when they are getting near half tread. Call me crazy, but the tires are (IMO) the most important part of a car.
