hello,
i currently have 16 inch rims and have a chance to get some nice mud tires for sirt cheap, but they are 16.5 inch tires,was not sure if it is possible for the mto be put on this size rim, have heard of people doing it but not sure, any help !!!

um dude no... they require 16.5 rims which are getting hard to come by anymore...

and most 16.5s are for fullsize patterns

and 8 lug for 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks.....

companies are slowly getting rid of the 16.5 wheel & tire.......that was only sold in America and since most wheels and tires are made overseas, they want to be able to sell them over there.........you can't get a 16.5 tire in a metric size.....and if you look at almost all tires that are 16" they are in metric sizes....even the 33 or 35 is actually a metric size compareable to the size...,.

just asking i had a friend of mine do it to his full size and ge hadno prob , just wanted to see what others think, thats why i was asking , but thanks for the help

I think 16.5" tires have a big bold warning on them that reads something like MOUNT ONLY ON 16.5" RIM.
