Icon14 Wheel weights?

I got my wheels and tires last night, put on...Sorry about the no show pics..My computer is dial up and its SSLLLOOWW...Ill try again tonight to upload some....anyways the put gray weights on my wheels and i was wondering has anyone painted theres to match their black wheels??

And if so what paint should i use??

on my steel wheels they balanced jus right so i didnt need a weight on the side sticking out jus on the backside guy at the shop said that was odd

if you have black rims they screwed up in a way.. when u balence a tire there different setting for different weights if u didnt already know. they should of used a static weoght balence... which is they put the grey weight on the inside of the rim (towards your breaks), and the other is what i call a sticky weight that goes on the inside of your rim. thats if they did it right, which im assuming they didnt

they did static balance, they just put weights on the outside...He said they didnt balance as good mounted on the inside...THATS NOT MY DAMN QUESTION THOUGH...Please dont reply, if its about that..I just want to know what kind of paint should i use to paint them to match???

I would use model paint or something similar that comes with a small brush to apply the paint with.

alright then model paint sounds good..Il try that this evening....

i take it hes mad bc someone was trying to tell him they messed up and he didn't want to here about it from us too

i also have black rims with the weights on the outside. the tire shop reccomends that due to the sub zero temps not allowing the weights to properly stick to the inside of the wheel. and i've been painting my weights since 1992
