Anyone know the knurl diameter or know how to find it for my 2002 Ranger 2wd? Its the 4 banger. Disc up front, Drums in back.

Any help would own. Thanks

(Knurl is the 'splines' on the wheel stud that holds it in place - just learned that today.)

 

Ok, for those that have a 2002 (or compatible) 2wd Ranger, I have the Knurl Sizes for the front and rear wheel studs. Also have the other specs.

Thread - 1/2 x 20
Knurl - Front .570, Rear .618
Shoulder - Front 19/32, Rear 3/8
Length - Front 1 7/8, Rear 1 13/16

This is valuable information if you are looking for longer studs. Took me some time to find someone that had this info. I have not found longer studs yet, but I am still looking. Went through Ford, Autozone, O'Reiley's and several places on the internet including Jeggs and Summit and finally found the info at Napa.

yeah. I am going to use a 1/2" spacer, but I want to make sure I am safe about it. I want to run spacers on the front and rear.
