Largest tire size with no modifications
 

Hello everyone,

I apologize in advance if this has already been asked or if it’s a dumb question. I joined this form today and this is my first form I’ve been a part of. I just recently picked up a 2007 Ford ranger 4x2, I love her, she’s amazing. I wanted to put some new rims and off road/all terrain tires on her. My question is what’s the largest tire/rim combo I can put on there with zero modifications?

I do not know what size wheels you are considering but I just went from P225/70 R15 to P255/60 R15 with the stock 7" rim on my 2004 Ranger. They are approximately 1.18" wider than the original and a lower profile being a 60 series. Good thing about this combination is it had virtually no affect on my speedometer.
