If I had the money to blow on these tires, then I would have enough money to buy more.

BFG ATs wear like steel.
BFG MTs wear a little faster and the KM2s aren’t much better.

I think the MTs are made of a softer rubber and highway travel wears them out faster. (This isn’t based on scientific fact just experience).

Yeah If you are doing this much highway miles I don't see why you wont just get a second set of wheels and tires. It wouldn't be too much of a pain to switch if you are use to rotating them at 1500 miles.

Wrangler MTR Kevlars are a great tire off road and have been lasting quite well for me since I do mostly highway driving as well. The only thing I have noticed is they are getting louder as they wear, which I kind of expected.

when in doubt, buy E-rated tires for a 1 ton and run them at low psi and expect them to last a while

My Coopers were E rated and have 45,000 miles on them when I sold them. The fronts were warn pretty bad on the outsides since I needed an alignment but other then that they were pretty good. Sold them to some idiot that offered me $800. lol

lol u prob ran them at the right PSI though. some people who put them on a small truck lower the PSI down to like 20ish to get "a better ride"

Oh yeah I had a 2wd with 2.5" coils and shitty shocks. I wasn't worried about ride quality. I ran them at like 35 or 40.

I don't even know what to say to that! That is so crazy! I paid $600 for mine used with like 15,000 miles on them. Ran them another 30,000 plus and sold them for $800.

I have seen them as low as like $250 a piece though. Check out sears.

With proper tire rotation and making sure you tires are aired properly, BFG AT T/A KO'S can get 50,000+ miles of use on them.
