33's are 285s

red_fx2 01-04-2008 08:22 PM

if u get larger tires, all u have to do it go to pepboys or something and tell them you need your computer recalibrated for the larger tires..then ur speedo will be right if thats what your worried about

actually, 295's are 33.4's while 285's are 32.8's so, both are considered "33's"

rideabikenick 01-05-2008 07:33 AM

^...blah blah blah... lol, ya highways down here are at least 80

BigBowtie 01-05-2008 07:55 AM

the fist number in the tire size is not the hieght of the tire

Trigger01 01-05-2008 09:06 AM

You can also get a X-cal from Wayne to correct the speedo, it'll also give you better fuel mileage, HP and all that good stuff.

4x404Edge 01-05-2008 09:14 AM

The 295 is how wide the tire is in Milimeters!

BigBowtie 01-05-2008 03:04 PM

exacly

99ranger4x4 01-05-2008 03:09 PM

derrr dee duhmmmm
no need to argue over that ****.

if you say "285" or something most people just think 33...
