lug nuts

i bought this set from summit

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MCG-84530/

for some reason the back studs seems longer than the front. the front work great. when i put the ones on the back it will never get tight bc the stud comes through the closed end breaking the lug nut. anyone know what size i need for the back? its a 2003 xlt supercab with stock rear end.

Yup-I had the same problem-ended up splitting a couple fo them. I went with some from Gorilla-they work fine and you still have a bit of theft-resistance as they use a special lug socket. Contact Summit-they should take them back-they did for me.

I bought the same set but it was boxed as a ford racing part. I didnt have a problem with the lug nuts just the lock nuts. I went to the Pep boys and bought 4 more mcguard lug nuts and threw the locks in the trash.
