Mazda B4000 Mudflap problem
Hey guys,
i have a 2007 b4000. it has the integrated mud flaps built into the fender flares, as it come stock like this. i'm running 265/75r16 tires on it so these hard plastic mud flaps hover off the ground only by a few inches. i live in canada and with the snow and ice in the winter times in pushes and bends these little dinky things around. my rear ones are broken and i had to take them completely off. now all the snow salt and sand gets thrown up into my bumper..its really hard on it....way to go ford....what a great design....glad you build these trucks ford tough would hate to see what it would be like if it wasn't built so ford tough...its ridiculous because a replacement flap from Mazda is almost $100....anyways. yea not a fan of these trucks at all haha. Any suggestions on how to fix this or a good looking alternative? i guess i could go buy new ones for $100 a pop or i could buy new fender flares from Bushwacker..but thats a few hundred as well. let me know what you guys think....the ranger flare system is definitely better then what they put on the Mazda's. thanks guys |
If you just want to get some flaps, check out the older Ranger style that has a metal bracket and then a flat flap that hangs off them. I bet they'd bolt on with minimal work. I might even have a set around here from my '97.

I have the same integrated flare/mudflap and hate it. I'm trying to find some edge or newer sport flares to swap on to mine.
