Mickey Thompson Classic IIs

I would just like to ask if anybody with those wheels in 15x8 can post pics of theirs on their truck i want to see how much they stick out. i will be getting 33s with the 15x8s instead of the cragars i was getting because i like the look of the polished aluminum over black on my red truck.

Honestly I hate mine, its so hard to keep them looking good. If your city salts the roads at all I wouldn't bother with them. This is what happens when you don't clean them weekly during the winter with salt on the roads:

eww. alright haha maybe i will stick with cragars. its terrible here with the salt/sand mix mostly sand though....i wash the truck and when i get home the side is white again
i don't know what to get .....now im open to suggestions.....i want that look of the 8 holes preferably polished aluminum looking color and thats decent for the winter....the black soft 8s would be the best but i prefer other color....i dunno haha

Theres ways to fix them, you can clear coat them. Theres this sealer called Zoop that will basically prevent this from happening. That happened before I knew all these so called tricks, if you keep them waxed it also prevents a lot of the salt from oxidizing the rim. Don't let me turn you off of them, just something to keep in mind, it will be a little more work to keep them looking good than the Cragers.

Yup, I have another afternoon of polishing coming up soon. What grit do you wetsand with? I used 00 steel wool last time and it worked great.

just keep a good coat of wax on them and wash them once a week. They only get bad if you don't take care of them. Don't go with black steel wheels. They just look to freaking cheap and cheesey.

The classic II's are good wheels so they aren't as bad. Eagle alloys are junk. Them things are almost imposible to keep looking new. The worst thing to ever happen was American racing buying out Weld. Weld rims used to be the best.

Yup. Just a body lift on Stone's truck. Looks good too. 33x12.5 Dick Cepek Mud Country's and 15x8 Classic II's (or similar).
