Mustang wheels on 93-97?

I tried looking through other threads but none seemed very clear. I want to put 17" mustang replicas on a 93-97 ranger dropped about 3/4. What size wheels and tires front and rear are as wide as i can go with no rubbing, Thanks

17x9 will fit fine but may rub on the shocks slightly and the hub will stick thru where the center cap should be....I even tried spacers but they wont work so you would need adapters to use the center caps.

17x8(maybe 9s). 245/45/17s on the front, 275/40/17s on the rear. 1.25" adapters on the front. very very minor rubbing on the lower shock bolt at full lock. may rub inner fender well on large bumps at high way speed.

are you talking about the kit that goes to a hat style rotor with seperate hub? if so, i saw that kit on here too but supposed it was only for 98 and up.

so would 17x9 with 24mm offset with 245 45 17 up front and 17x10 with 20mm offset 275 40 17 out back work? these are from a mustang site but im curious about which spacers and such.

if you run 1.25" adapters, you may need to trim your stock wheel studs.

yep. some wheels may have recesses in between the holes for the lugs that would clear the stock studs, where as most oem wheels don't.
