my 16" bead lock wheels..

hey guys
So around 2months ago I got a good deal on a set of steel *** bead lock wheels.
Things i liked about them:
They are black & gangster... the wider 8inch vs 7 looks nice.

Things i did not like:
They are So SO Heavy ! wow! they are catastrophically over weight for our trucks!
Basically since day One of having them on, I did not like how the truck road and handled and performed. poor mpgs too
So i never really got around to taking some good cleaned up pics.
But hear are some less then great shots,

i will post some pics when i get it back from the shop, i had to take it in for an emergency brake job because my brakes are goners.

Nice, i've got the exact same wheels. It looks cool if you reuse our stock hub caps.

another problem with faux beadlocks is that you'll get debris trapped behind the beadlock ring and it will bounce around in there.

I have that problem with mine, as well you can never get all the mud out of them. Problem being, after you have cleaned your truck and you go for a drive, mud splashes everywhere.

Yep, always happens to me. But so many people ask me where i got my wheels because you don't see them very often.

yes i got my truck back Saturday, and it is amazing! the new brakes are sweet but but the rims are BAAADDDD! i love them , I went over to my uncles house to wash my truck and clean the tires, but their was no car soap.. and i was to embarrassed to take dirty pics for braging purposes haha. Any way since i live in an apt its hard to get a chance to wash it ever.So hers a pic of what wheels i got.. and i will get on the pics of the truck asap

Great looking truck John. Definetly love the wheels.

I dig the monochrome paint on all your trim.
