My new rims and tires =]

I know the truck is getting a heart transplant at the moment but that doesn't mean I can't mod remotely mod her. lol

I got a set of M/T Classic II's 15x8 w/3.3" bs. I got a set of Kumho M/T KL71's to go on them, 33x12.5x15. I'm almost regretting not getting 35"s. Oh well. I'm getting them mounted this week. I've got an Innovative Balancing kit but after reading another thread on them(Bill), I'm gonna scrub the crap out of the new tires and make sure they don't slap on any tire lube. I think I'm gonna get some weight on the inside of the rim too JIC. All the stuff is piled in my parent's garage and will get some real pics posted after they're together and on the truck. Ought to be pretty crazy changing tires on my dead truck in a dealership's parking lot. lol

I've had good luck with the Kumho M/T's in the past so I figured I'd be the guinea pig with these. I've heard "this and that" about how great they were but never heard from anyone with personal experiences with them. Kumho uses some awesome compounds to meet a middle gound when it comes to soft/traction and harder/longer life. I'm pretty siked.

Those sidewalls look pretty sweet too.

I was kinda let down when I seen the rims in person. The holes inside the rim aren't the size of the ones advertised, I dunno if that's a dif size or wtf. It just seems like the one in the pic has much larger holes. I dunno...

M/T II's were $396 shipped from summitracing.com
Kumho KL71's were $666.50 shipped from tires-easy.com
Dynabeads kit was $6X shipped(I forget), that came with 4 bags of beads, 4 filtered valve stems and four double seal valve caps from innovativebalancing.com

Yeah the rim advertised is a 6 lug rim, probably for a full size truck, any how, they will look like things of beauty once they are mounted on the truck. That looks like it was a wise purchase.

Good call, lol.

I was just hoping they'd look exactly like those and the holes were smaller. The one's that I have, have holes that are in between my current american racing baja rims size and the ones advertised is about what they look like.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Check out http://www.tires-easy.com

They have the cheapest prices(shipped)on KL71's. I spent a few days trying to find the cheapest place. They were $75 more on tirerack and they were freakin backordered for a month.

cant wait to see those mounted on your truck, man. they are gonna look wicked.

sorry to hear you are second guessin the 33" decision. if you wanna see what 35" would look like, check out casfz1's pics(if you havent already). he is rockin a superlift and a 1" BL. and had the same ride height as your truck on 33's

Damnit man! I'm obsessed with those tires, and i wanted to be the first on RF to get them... then Ben got some on his toy... now You... damnit...

They'll look hella good, though, man. I've heard that those tires will do anything really well-- Mud, rocks, sand, etc... And that they are equally good on the street.

I saw that. The 35"s would be a close fit. I think after the new rear leaf pack and redoing the front coilovers, then I'll measure it up.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I can't wait to get them mounted either. Just looking for a good shop at this point. I wanted to get them filled with nitrogen and find a place cool enough to let me fill my 10 gallon craftsman tank up w/nitrogen too =].
