I have read through the thread about maximum tire sizes and didn't really find an answer I need.

I have a 2000 2wd stock Ranger with 16" explorer rims. Will 245/75 r16 fit this truck? Right now I have 235/70 r16 and they fit great. The tires I want to put on are Good year wranglers (an off road type tread). The tires are used and have about half the tread left on them. I've measured carefully with the wheels in all postions and it looks like they will fit. However, with some suspension travel, I'm not so sure.

Any thoughts on this?

245/75r16 = 30.5"....I believe in order to fit 31's, you need at least a spacer up front to fit 'em.
