I think this question can only be answered if you specify WHAT tires you want to get! Theyre all different, but I have heard that BFG mud terrains seem to last just as long as "regular" tires (60,000 miles seems to be what I have heard)

If I remember right, my bfg mud terrains (not km2) have 13/16 tread left and about 25-30000km on em. (about 15500-18600 miles) and I am very, very bad to my tires.

I never said that they had half tread. I believe they had 18/32 when new, but not 100% sure. If you really want I will go upstairs and check, but I would rather not as the catalog is about a 15 min walk.

you said 13/16 haha im just givin ya **** man, i know what you probably meant.

13/32 from 18/32 is probably believable if your a nice driver. my buddy in wyoming ate those things up like no other, but he was basically spooled cause the rear detroit wouldnt ratchet and he was always wheelin.. always cashin in on the tire certs at discount hahaha

I think I put 32 instead of 16ths in my 1st post, sorry!

Your confusing method of measurement is to blame.

my buckshots have about 40k on them and at 1/4 tread. my IROCs are at 3000 miles and all the little hairs are gone and most of the sharp edges are worn down.

i personally have gone through some mud tires, my favorite being maxxis buckshots, 30-35k worst being interco trxus 20k, got a set of bfg ats, i like the smoothness for now, i also had boggers for like 3 months, but wore then out quick because my frnt end was F'ed up... all 33x12.5x15
