Need tire advice for a 2wd.
I have a stock 2wd XLT 04. I want to put either 265/70/15 or 30/9.5/15 tires on it. I believe they should fit with no rubbing but im not sure. Im not sure what kind of tire to get either. I dont need anything super fancy as I need bigger tires to go out into the desert with my dirtbikes or quads and make it over rocks and stuff without bottoming out. I dont mud it just ride down the trail and sometimes hit a puddle or two for fun but nothing serious. Personally I love the look of wide tires but I dunno if a 265/70 would have rubbing issues? I plan to get a lift one day but cant afford it yet, and probably wont do it for some time. However this is a simple fix to allowing me to climb steeper hills and get over some other rough terrain.

XLT & XL 2wd
* 15x7 stock - 215x75x15, 235x75x15, 235x60x15, 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15(may need to trim)
Taken directly from the sticky
As far as what tire to get I would go with a good all terrain of course there is the BFG A/T which I'm very impressed with so far but I've also heard good things about Bridgestone Revos and also ProComp. Everybody has their opinions on tires. I've heard some say ProComp has crappy tires and others really like them. I hope this helps somewhat

Anyway, I know a 31 will rub, however I wasnt sure if a 265 would rub in the front when I turn. I like the BFG, however has anyone ever tried the Big O Tires I think they are like the X or something. A buddy of mine said he use some kind of Big O Tires and they were pretty good. I only ask cause I would think they might be cheaper then BFGs.

My only problem is I dunno if I want to go 30x9.5s or 265/70s. I love the look of a fat tire but dunno if 265 is to fat for turning.
