new BFG's

so i went down to big o tires the other day to get some quotes on new BFG A/T's... i wanted to kno how much it would cost to put the same size (235/75r15) tire i have on my truck and it came out to $680 mounted and balanced. then i asked about bigger ones. the next size up that's available was a 31x10.5 r15. only $685 mounted and balanced. hmm... 29" vs. 31" for $5 difference. now i just need to decide if i wanna sacrifice the power with a 31" tire on 3.73 gears.

Get the 31's or you will kick yourself in the *** later. I had the 31x10.5x15 BFG A/t's on my 98 2.5L 5spd... if it can handle them than ai know your 4.0 can.

Big O is a rip off. I found that out recently while shopping for my new 33x12.50 BFG AT's. Big O quoted me at over 900. Sears quoted me at 880.

Go to Discount...you won't regret it. I paid 700 dollars for my 33x12.50 BFG AT's last week. I bet you could get 235x75's or 31's for under 500-550 at Discount
