Wheel size help.

I plan on getting a set of Micky Thopmson Classic II's and some more aggressive tires for the summer months and running the stock Alcoas and BFG's in the winter.

What size 15x7 or 15x8 should I get? I plan or running 31x10.5x15 tires. Also, what is the bolt pattern on our trucks? Thanks.

The bolt circle is 4 1/2". Level II's came from the factory with 15x7, +12mm offset, 4.5" backspacing. If you stay close to those numbers, you should be able to avoid any rubbing issues.

I am ALMOST sure that Mickey Thompson does not make 15x7, so you will have to go 15x8.

i'd go with 15x8's either way.
a 31x10.5 is about the biggest you want to put on a 15x7 anyways.

The MT's I am looking at are part #358421. 5 bolt on 4.5 bolt circle, 3 and 5/16 backspacing, no clue on the offset.

Will this be OK?

8" width and 3 5/16" BS gives an offset of about -30mm. Stock is +12mm. These wheels would push your tires out about 12+30 = 42mm or roughly 1 3/4". You may possibly get minor rubbing on the mudflaps or inner fenders when the steering is turned to the stops.

rwenzing,

Man....your smart with this stuff. I really would like to keep my tires inside the fenders. I wash it enough...I don't need the more crap getting thrown all over the place. I think I will keep looking for awhile.

Ok...one more try. American Racing wheels. 15x8, 5-bolt 4.5 bolt circle, 19mm offset, back spacing of 3.75 inches.

Looking better?
