New rims vs wheel spacers

I currently have 32x11.50s on 15x8 and they dont stick out the way I want them to becasue I have an 06 with flairs so what I was wondering is if I got 15x10 rims if that would help it or would wheel spacers be better? I want them to stick out about 1 to 2 inches more. thanks guys

Get wheels, not spacers.

If you get 15x10's with the same backspace as your 8's, the tire will stick out 2" more.

Im not sure what my backspace is I bought them off a kid that had a ranger how would I find that out? Take off the wheel and measure from where the lug nuts go on the the back of the rim? Thanks for the fast response

yes get some thing that is stright and lay it across the outer edge of the rim. and measure from the back of the wheel to the flat edge that will tell you. IIRC

ProComp Xtreme Steel wheels have TONS of backspace options....something like 2" to 5" on their 15x8's. Something to think about.

go check 'em out at www.procomptires.com

check your local laws before going with wheel spacers. Here in Pa its illegal to have a spacer larger than 1/4"

What's the wheel width? 5.5" is MORE sucked in than stock wheels.

just get a wheel with a mid offset and that will solve your problems

I would only get spacers if I had a very expensive wheel.

Backspace is measured from the backside of the wheel! what are you talking about?

+ or - 1/2" if he measured on the outside of the wheel instead of that first 'dip'. For all we know, he's looking at new wheels and listed the wheel he's looking at's backspace from the online store or the manufacturer's website.... he wasn't too clear.
