ground hawgs are HEAVY and very stiff.

Baja claws don't have enough lug-seperation for my taste.

I always thought boggers were generally considered to be the best tire for off-roading.

There is no best tire for off-roading because there is alot of types of "off-roading". Boggers are the best for mud if you have the HP.

I don't know much about the different tires, but I've heard that the Baja Claws wear down quick under heavier trucks. Since your truck is pretty heavy with all the addons, I chose the boggers.

Right, thats what I meant, considering the only real wheeling around us is mud. So when I say off-road I mean mud. Thats just me.

I would run claws possibly on a daily driver (in fact, nowadays I might run boggers, but my way of thinking a driving my rig has changed), but for an offroad only rig I'd run boggers. Though it's true that it's because I see more muck than rocks, but boggers do rocks well also. I hear they ain't great for sand though -- although I think the driver might have a lot to do with that.

I've really settled down my aggressive driving style since I put the unsiped muds on the rear of my truck. I had that one spin out accident that whanged my front bumper and it taught me a lesson. Now, I've actually got my front sway bar disconnected most of the time and so I drive even gentler.

Oh well, all the tires noted are good -- not a loser among them. Just a choice as to how agressive you want to be and exactly what you do.

I vote the boggers too. My roomate had the claws and they did well on the street but I wasn't all that impressed with how they look and performed.
