Most guys get a backspacing around 3.75" to get a little wider stance & to help provide additional 'inboard' clearance for the larger tires.

However, that's not a big tire increase (less than an inch wider) so the stock backspacing may work just fine... but might be safer going with 4" of backspacing (at most).

As far as the tire size, click here: https://www.ranger-forums.com/wheels...re-size-20047/

All you're after is tire with an equivalent outside diameter (and width) as what that chart indicates.

Its a tire chart, not a wheel chart, so the chosen wheel diameter doesn't matter if the outside tire diameter & overall width is the same as one that's on the chart.

The -12mm offset on a 9" wide wheel will always have a backspacing of 4.50". They are dependent measurements (aka - as one changes the other one does as well).

Because this is the same amount as stock, the wheel would be the same distance 'inward' as stock - then your just dealing with the tire width difference - which in your case isn't much (less than an inch). Might be fine if you don't get wider tires.
