Any pics of 16x8 Nomads? And how well would they survive road salt?

Any pics of 16x8 Nomads? And how well would they survive road salt?

I really like the Nomads, however I just got new tires put on my stock 16" wheels so I'd like to use my new tires on the Nomads if I got them. I've found plenty of pics of 15" Nomads, but can't seem to find any 16" pics. Anyone have any

Also, I don't have the money to have two sets of wheels, so I'm just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of how well these wheels would withstand road salt? My truck is our daily driver during winter since our other car is a Mustang. Thoughts???

I wonder if there's some kind of glaze/clearcoat/wax/etc that could be applied to them to create a layer of protection from the winter elements, yet not alter the color or appearance of the wheels.

ya there is. its applied from factory. its the same stuff, probably a clear coat, that ford uses on factory rims... and they sure dont last long before corrosion sets in

Nomads are clear coated from the factory. They should be ok in winter, just like factory wheels. Keep them clean shouldn't be that bad at all. I have the 16x8's bought them because got tired of cleaning and all the pits on other wheels with out a clear coat in because I live Michigan.

Do you have any side or 3/4 pics of your truck with the 16's? And did you retain the stock tire size or did you go larger?

wow the 16s look so different! there is so much more material between where the spokes split and the lugnut area compared to the 15s. i think the 15s look way better, no offense

thats what i could never get over on the 16's, how much meterial there is between the lug nuts and the spokes, they should have just made the spokes longer

I'm surprised at the difference too. Don't understand why hey didn't just extend the length of the spokes.
