odometer/ new tires/ stuff

Ok, i was trying to figure out how to see how many miles i really go. I just changed from the stock 235x75x15 Wrangler RTS (?)to 32x11.5x15 bighorns.

What im trying to figure out how far im going, compared to what the odometer says. Maybe like a number i could multiply to correct it for figuring out my mileage? thanks for hte help

Your original tires were 28.9" diameter. I don't have any specs on the Bighorns but "32 inch" tires are often about 31.7" diameter. Using those numbers, the speedometer and odometer correction would be

31.7/28.9 = 1.10

1.10 is what you would multiply the displayed values by to get the actual. 60 MPH displayed is actually 66 MPH road speed. 200 miles on the odometer means that you've traveled 220.

If you find out that the true diameter of the Bighorn is different from what I assumed, just substitute the correct number and redo the calculation.

If you get a X-Calibrater you them set your speedo back right, just something to think about.
