Opinion: 32 or 33?

(99 4x4)
So I have 31's now, but I just don't think I can stand 31 streeters anymore... I'm going to get some ATs in 32 or 33. I've got 15x8 wheels, no lift (although I cranked the tbars ...) I went to the tire shop the other day and test fitted 32 BFG AT and even those looked smaller than I liked in my front wheel wells. I don't like the stuffed look, but I think 33's would be perfect for the front, stuffed in the rear. I think the front is a pretty good height, and I have also moved my bumper forward so there is alot of space. I do 90% on road, so I am leaning towards 32s...but....I WANT 33s.....
So any input?
Sorry no pics up, but I will post some tomorrow.

I like my 32s, the don't look half bad with a body lift too. If you can run the 33s do it

32's with no body lift...unless you are planning to lift. If you are even 'thinking' about lifting...just wait it out and get 33's or 35's :)

I have 32's and it didn't take too long before I wished I'd bought 33's.

I say 33's...like Trigger01 said, " when he got 32's he wished he would of got 33's".

I said the same thing about 35's guys....

imo...

If you wheel/off road/go muddin' whatever you call it, i'd suggest the 32's over the 33's. I effed up a few fenders stock w/ 32's. I can't imagine the damage with 33's. oh....i'm kinda hard of my stuff when wheelin'. Gotta be so you don't get high centered! lol.

i don't think your off road is my off road. tires go weird directions when all twawked out and drivin' too fast for the trail.

well, I mean, I'm probably not the only one that wasted money going small first...I wish I woudl have done 35's from the get-go.

But now I'm having some serious IFS problems...I can't stop the click clunk bang...all sorts of weird noises when I turn and going straight :(

maybe not. I try to keep the damage to a minimum when I'm on the trail since I don't have a back up vehicle anymore.

well yeah, I 'wasted' money on the 31's I have now... I should have never got 31 streeters in the first place. I got them under strong 'persuasion' from my father, and I have regretted it since the third day with them... but I don't want to blow that out of proportion and go to the other extreme. Ya know?

Just do some really good burnouts and then rotate the tires and do some really good burnouts and then you will be able to justify some new tires.

You mean since you bought 35's, like its the tire size's fault for your clunking?? Will the happen with larger tires?

Well...it's complicated. I THINK i know where it's coming from...but hard to really tell.

I just replaced all joints and bearings, about 6k miles ago, if that. I checked everything, so far so good. ONLY problem (which seems like it is the real problem) is that my lower joints were loose in the lower control arm. The torsion bar also hits the lower control arm...something is tweaked.

I never had any problems until the 35's...33's I went 40k miles without replacing a thing...right when I put the 35's on, the uppers and bearings went...which I just replaced it all. Now 6k miles after 35's I'm having nothing but problems...IFS problems :) Everything else is good.

could it be that your ifs isnt strong enough for 35's? thats a fair amount of extra work for your axels and diffs

It's OUR IFS

They are all the same.

Yes, it could be that it isn't strong enough...but more or less it's just something tweaked in my suspension. (probably from hitting something offroading) The left lower control arm sits back more than the right, the brackets must be twisted. I'm going to replace the LCA's (they are 50 each on rockauto) and see what happens.

Many people run 35's w/o problems. Kevooo on here, my buddy, ran 35's with superlift/body lift and had the same exact thing...nothign but problems, wheel bearings both failed, ball joints, and premature wear on EVERYTHING.

Just depends on how you are with your stuff. We are both rough on our trucks at times, and he was wheeling his pretty hard...mine just gets tossed around alot on the hwy and towing the atv's around.

If you going to use your truck more on the street then the trail then I would go with a 33/10.50/15.

has anyone used those before? Are they good or am I a guinea pig?

I don't think I'm going to get a lift.... I crankd the tbars and I MAY get 1" shackles...but no more than that

Also, here are the pics I promised.... These are the 31's I have now...
