first i have to say because your new PLEASE USE THE SEARH FUNCTION its there for a reason.

2nd dont get 15x10 get 15x8 with a 3.25 or 3.75BS. then get a 33x12.5 tire and crank the t-bars they will fit you will just have to trim a minor bit on the inner part of the front valance being you have a flare side you have no fender flares and that will work out better for you. if you have mud flaps take those off too..

what would be the difference in the 3.25 " and 3.75" backspacing one would stick out further?

yep, 3.25 would stick out more then the 3.75 as this is the space from mounting edge of the rim to the outside edge on the back.

3.75 backspacing is just about perfect for 15x8 rims on rangers

Seriously yelling at people to search is kinda rude guys. We need to get togethor and throw a nice comprehensive guide together, and sticky it, so that people don't have this problem. The new guys prolly dont even know how to search lol.

if you read when you register it tells you about searching. also there is a FAQ i do beleave...to explain how to just click on a button. am not being a complete *** here its just one of those topics that is hashed over and over. just like go to RPS and there like "can i fit 20's with a 4/5 drop"....its just one of those things...

I was joking with Zach but I agree with him on using the search function that question is asked over and over and a simple search (even if you dont find anything) is helpful and you should read everything in the faq when you register. Some people need to be "yelled" at so they dont ask questions over and over.

Nah I didn't say you guys were being an ***. Its just with all the typing people do "SEARCH!!" we could've thrown a guide togethor. Zach, if I remember its your goal to get everyone with big tires, and you are one of the only people with knowledge of what fits the older gen trucks. I myself never read the faq, I was in the back for a while, and then started posting a lot.

If we made a guide, it'd be very helpful. I myself pm'd Christian the other day because I didn't know if 33x12.50 tires would work on my 8.5 inch rims, and didn't want to be yelled at for not lookin it up.

maybe we should ask to have a spell check installed too.....
of course that would not work for ALL CAPITALS which we all know is equivalent to yelling
sometimes it is not what you say, but the way you say it that really matters
this is not directed at anyone in particular so please do not get your panties all in a bunch

so when i order my wheels and tires i could get 15x8 with a 3.25" backspacing and 33x12.5x15 tires and they will fit after cranking the bars in front and taking my mud flaps off , is this correct?

yes it is correct and you MIGHT have to trim a little off the corner of the front of the valance on the inside you will understand when you try to turn them after mounting
