Need opinions: 2 different tires on truck

I have the BFG A/T KO tires on my truck. About a year ago I got a nail in the sidewall of a tire, so I replaced 2 of them. Now, I have 2 tires at 80-90% tread and 2 tires which need to be replaced badly. BFG just came out with the BFG A/T KO2 tires, which are improved in many ways. However, the design is slightly different, specifically the sidewall.

Do you think it will look funny with 2 different (but similar) tires? Or should I just replace it with the regular KO tires?

It is all in your opinion. I personally wouldn't see a thing wrong as long as each axle had the same tires

Won't hurt anything. Just keep two similar tires with each other. Either both front, or both back.

Personally I think it looks funny if all 4 tires are not the same. I would see if you can find 2 like what you have.

Well, bfg suck so if it was me I'd sell the good ones, and buy 4 new ones that don't suck.

In most cases I agree, however since the tires are just 2 different versions of each other and are fairly similar it makes it a more difficult decision.

I have thought about that, and might throw my 2 good tires up on craigslist to see what I can get for them. However I would get all 4 of the new BFGs.

Pay no mind, he's a BFG hater. BFG A/Ts are great in the sand and awesome for on road longevity. Not too much for mud/snow

I sure am lol. I used to love them. Ran them for a long time.

Then I stopped being stubborn, and tried something different and was surprised at how much better different brands were.

Bfg sell an tires because people jump on the brand bandwagon and won't try anything else. I know, I used to be like that.

Regardless, this isn't a discussion about what tires to use. I just wanted opinions on running 2 tires that are slightly different

I have run 2 different tires before.. I had the more aggressive looking tires in the rear and it looked ok.. It wasn't ideal, but it's not terrible. And those tires don't look that much different anyway. Btw.. I switched to Goodyear Duratracs.. they're both good tires.

I'd just get all 4 KO2's and sell your current ones. once the other 2 KO's get low, you'll be on the same boat again if you get 2 new KO2's. If you want the new tire, get all 4 imo

I don't think it'll look too funny with 2 of each but the sidewalls are fairly different.
