Is It Possible To Rattle Can Alloy Rims?
My rims on my truck are starting to chip away , like the surface coat , they are the stock 2002 xlt 4x4 rims , And i was just wondering if its possible to rattle can them black , like either a glossy or a flat black , Or will the paint even stick?
Thanks

It should work as long as you have a little painting know how.
Sand them down with some sandpaper (like a 220 grit or so). Thatll give the paint something to stick to. Mask off anything you dont want painted and itll prolly be easier if you take the rim off the truck. Overspray is not fun. Dont do one coat at once! Itll run and look unprofessional. Do a few light coats. The more coats (generally) the better it will look, especially if you do gloss black. Its fairly easy once you get the hang of it.
