Yep. I'm doing a set of 03 cobra wheels myself.

you can pretty much powdercoat anything as long as it doesn't melt while baking.

There was an episode of extreme 4x4 a few weeks back. They put a lift on an f-150 at some truck show in colo. I think. They had a set of MT classic lock's powder coated. They left the lock rings polished. It looked killer.

What would powder coating 4 wheels cost?

Thanks. I called around after I posted this and found a place that'll do it for $250 for all 4. That's if I strip them down. I'm gonna see how the paint job I did on the wheels lasts before I get them powder coated. I could use that $250 on something else.

The best strip down is beadblasting. I hear there's acids you can use also though. Definately paint them yourself though, they'll look great.

I've already painted them. I was checking into powder coating just in case the paint don't hold up to this Mississippi mud during deer season.

so you HAVE to beadblast it or acid it..you cant just like 900 grit to rough it up then powder

cuz im just wanting to like clear coat..so i can still keep the polished look

here in michigan i was quoted at 40 a wheel thats with the sonic cleaning done before the powder coating is done....not to bad of a deal.
