Price Matching

Does anyone know what tire stores in New England would match Summit's pricing on tires and rims?

Im getting the cragar soft 8's- 37 for the fronts and 47 for the rear
And for the tread im getting Yokohama avid s/t's- 96 for rears, and 58 for fronts(tirerack price)

ummmm no they dont........it only cost about $10 a tire to ship.......that includes their standard handling charge.........wait till you buy something big from another online company and then you wont complain about their shipping....

you are the 1st that i have ever heard complain about Summit's shipping prices...

well its like 10 bux per tire for handling, plus 10 bux per tire for mounting, and then the 11 dollar handling charge... i think ill wait a lil bit and buy more from summit so they charges seem like nothing

I wasn't aware that you were affliated with EVERY tire store. Please refrain from feeding people with false information, maybe try something along the lines of "I have never heard of a tire shop matching the price"

I was able to find a deal that was signifcantly cheaper than summit, around $100 cheaper for my tires/wheels. This was from a national chain, so I have free rotations too.

well 99.999999% of the places in towns will not match Summit's price because they are not in competition with Summit and because they can't get the tires at the same price as Summit because of the volume of product that Summit buys.........

good for you that your special place got you a better deal......only reason you did is because they were a national place.....you want a cookie?

Uhh, your saying that not a single tire store exists that can match summits price. I went to a NATIONAL chain, and they significantly beat the price. I understand your fond of summit, but telling someone that no one will ever beat their price is ridiculous. It is not a positive step to helping someone.

Me, ZaBeard, John, SniperX103 all have purchased tires for the same or cheaper than summit from a retail store.

P.S. I thought we addressed the grade school comments in the other thread?

well good for you.....i am really glad you have tire places that have good prices......

now i remember him asking a question and i dont remember seeing you answer it....all you do is go in and hijack a thread and start pointing out why someone is wrong......answer his question with a place that will price match Summit....maybe there is one of them "national" tire chains near him so he can get the same deal.....

i was just answering his question....if you dont like the way i answered it, then kiss off....you have shown nothing to prove that a local place will beat Summit's price.....

I guess the grade school attitude is still on-going. How exactly do you want me to "prove" that a local place will beat summit's price? It doesn't really matter, there are 4 people in one thread who all said they got the same or a better deal from a retail shop. I'm still humored that you believe you can speak for every tire shop.

NOTE TO THREAD STARTER: Ignore Maurice's comments. Essentially Summit has a killer price that is tought to beat, there are plenty of tire shops out that that will match/beat summit's price, but it's not always easy to find one.
