its just added security for myself. my damn alarm is so sensitive it will go off if the vehicle is jacked up. some sort of level sensor. and the remote will go nuts and notify me.

well the only thing i know about lugnuts are there's ones that are kinda like hub-centric, where they take some load from the rim, then there's ones that just hold the rim to the rotar, and the hub of the wheel takes the weight. then there's the special mercedes and bmw things...whole other game tho

when i was younger i totally messed up a hub from impacting a stupid lugnut too deep.
the guy brought in his winter tires, so i took off the summers and used his summer lugs on the winter tires. Didnt know the rims were different thicknesses...so when the lug wasn't going all the way, i figured i needed more power. Ooops.. oh well, another mechanic heated it up and fixed it...kinda. Learned my lesson quick
