Icon5 Question about tire?

I bought for 255/70/16's for $5 each but i don't know anything about the brand.
They are stampede radial at's and have about 1/2-3/4 tread left on them. So how good are they? They will be replacing my grabbers next year as the grabbers are getting low on tread.
Here is a pic of them:

$20 for 4 tires.. why are people so cheap? people don't buy use brake pads,or used air filters, or used oil, so why buy used tires? (an unknown brand as well)

Yeah, maybe it's just the camera shot... but the tread on those doesn't look very deep. It looks like they're about at the point that I replace my tires...

I figure it's probably going to cost 40-50 to mount and balance those, and now you've paid $70 for tires that you're going to get 3-4 months out of, assuming that your current tires can make it through winter. I wouldn't rock those in the winter, especially in upstate NY where the snow is plentiful.

Well two of them are getting down and the camera shot does no justice to the tires. I figured for $20 i can run them all summer long. I am not going to run them during the winter. I mount and balance my own tires so that is free for me :)

Yeah thats like less than 1/4 tread. You'll probably get more than 20 dollars out of them then so its all good
