Questions about 35's
ok here my question i only have enuff money right now for the tires and no new rims my current rim is a 15x7 i'm told i can run a 33x12.5 with no problem on the 7 inch rim but peopel don't liek to do it well...would it be alright if i ran the 35's on my 15x7's for about a month until i can get 15x8's? also what is a good wearing tire that yall would recomend

If your getting fabtech spinles, tires/rim combo wont fit with a stock wheel.
That is all.. |
I wouldn't run a tire that tall, that wide, on a wheel that small and that narrow...

Yes, unless you are offroading ONLY, you're going to wear that tire BAD in the center. I had that problem with 15x7's with only a 31 and my tire guy told me at least as 15x8, which I went and got.
I'd say 15x10 for that tire if you are going to drive it a lot on the street. And I don't think 15" is the "small" part, just the width you're running would be disadvantageous. |
I ran 33x12.50s on 15x7s for a couple months before I got my 15x8's. I think you'll be alright if you don't do alot of heavy off roading for a while. You might have some funny road manners because the tire is a little taller it might feel like a shimmy if your on a bumpy and windy road. Just air down a bit and you should be alright for about a month like ya said.

yeah the 15x(7) part is what i think is small it'll only be fore about 2 or 3 weeks.and leo my tries are not the stock wheels or size i think but i'm not sure...anyway i think i should be ok for a few weeks just wantednto get some opions about it before i spend all this money on tires and screw them up

youll be fine with 35s on 7s for a while. its just more stress on the sidewall and if you take it easy, youll be smooth saillin
