ranger rims and tire
hi every one im currenctly look to buy rims for my ranger 08 single cab
I want to go the winder possible, I think i wll buy diamond racing 16x9,5 with 260/60/r16 what do you thing? I much offset should I get? I like the flush look without rubbing and camber, will lower the truck il the futur thx avery enjoy your minitruck |
You should be good with that size without rubbing. Most guys on here get a 3.75" backspacing, which for a 9.5" wide rim the offset would be -38. If you plan on lowering the truck you will rub with those tires.

what is the best tire rims setup to not loose all the advanatge of owning a truck, but have a dam nice minitruck??
what do you propose? |
You are asking a ridiculously vague question. You need to provide a lot more information if you want opinions on a good setup.
There are a million rim/tire setups, literally. You aren't going to loose any advantages of owning a truck with a different rim/tire setup unless you go low profile. Low profile will reduce offroading capabilities. What do you want simon? We can't tell you. Are you going to lower the truck, lift the truck? If so how much? What do you use your truck for? Your tire choices will drastically change due to ride height. Ask specific questions. I can't give you a rim/tire choice so you have a "dam nice minitruck but don't lose advantages of having a truck" |
I want to drop the truck 5 inch in the back and 3-4 inch front, i use my ranger for my atv in the bed i do not plan to do offroad im 2wd but i dont want to be slammed its the reason why i dont want 225 50
So i was think put some 235 60 but i also dont want to rubs maybe 10ich is to large What do you think 9,5 back 8,5 front? |
First you said 260/60/r16, now you say 235/60r16. Which is it? And you wan't to lower it 4/5 inches but you don't want it to be slammed? That makes no sense.
Get the same size rims so you can rotate tires. Don't mix them. |
4-5 inch drop is not that much with rims with 1 inch bigger

Do you want to take if off-road or strictly a street queen? The advantages of having a truck are being able to haul stuff in the bed, so as long as you don't mess with that ability, you should be good ? |
anyone look at the picture?
