Alrighty, I know that the title has two choices, but toss in the dead horse proven good BFG AT/KO.

All sizes are the same: 31x10.50x15.

I did a search and couldn't find much about the Falken, some seem to love it, some seem to hate it. It worries me that the reviews I did read about it that were negative, were negative for the same thing; out-of-round, not stable, and wishy-washy sidewalls.

The Bridgestone I've been in love with ever since I had my first Level II back in 2003. Never had a set though. For some reason, they just don't look like they'd be aggressive off-road.

The BFG AT/KO's are always a viable choice, but I do want to have a teeny bit more nice ride on the street, and possibly some noise level minimizing. But, they're a good third option.

Does anyone know anything more than what I do based on my Google search on the Falken tire? They look boss, seem to have good reviews (when they're reviewed positively).

Give me your thoughts on how the Revo works as well if you have the know!

I don't do much off-roading, but I get the occasional shallow mud, a few puddles, sand/rocks/coal etc. I don't do anything wild. The BFG AT/KO is probably way more tire than I would ever need.

Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo II



We all know what the BFG looks like, but here:

 

i had the bridgestones on my winter beater and they were ok but not great. if you would consider a better option to the bridgestones look into the firestone destination AT's. they are highly rated, wear good and are better than the bridgestones in the snow. its still hard to be the proven BFG's though too.

 

falken. because there neogen 2.0 wears even no matter what your camber and that just m4d tyt3 jdm y0!

Patrick -- All of a sudden on tirerack, the Firestone Destinations are all like, "God" of the tires. I thought they were just mediocre back in the day? Something change?

 

go with the tried and true bfg! i have driven many trucks with them and they ride pretty good and they are not loud at all. there are a lot of different trucks running them and i never hear anything bad about them.

 

yeah BFG is owned by Micheline, not sure why that would be a bad thing.

anyways, the destinations are pretty popular around here and several guys from work have them on there trucks and they all swear by them, especially in the winter. I bought a set for my F-150 and so far i am very pleased with them. not to mention they were almost $400 cheaper a set than the BFG AT's (i have 18" rims, pricey to put rubber on")

 

I have the Revo 2's on my truck currently and the only thing I dont like about them is I got load range E so it beats the **** out of ya when you drive... That and when the tread starts to near its end (not quite at the replace indicators) they get pretty slick in rain, mud and Snow

 

Goodyear Duratrac's. lol I'll pimp out those tires to anyone. They are pretty awesome. They have LESS road whine then the stock street tires that were on it before, and they look super aggressive. M/T look with A/T wear and driveablity. And if you ever get into mud/snow they dig, and its a self cleaning tread. Check out the reviews on TireRack.

On topic..... I've had the Falkens for about 13k miles and I couldn't be happier with them. Great traction on dry and wet roads and off road. They've worn very well so far. My only complaint is that they have a tendency to pick up rocks quite a bit, but overall a great tire.

I just put a pair of 31 10.50 15 rocky mountains on the rear of my 02 Ranger and it doesnt feel right. Have any of you guys had stability issues out of this tire? if so please reply
